Typing Chinese Names and Unfamiliar Words Accurately
Create a small list of difficult words using public or fictional examples to reduce pronunciation guessing and blind selection of first candidates.
Confirm the target word first
If the glyph cannot be clearly seen or the pronunciation is unknown, first check reliable word information instead of constantly changing pinyin to guess candidates. Errors in names and professional words may not affect the flow of the entire sentence, so they are worth checking separately. Exercises should use public or fictional text and do not submit real customer profiles.
Only sort out a small number of difficult words at a time
Write down the target word, input method used, possible confusion and correct output. Pinyin users focus on pronunciation and candidates, while Wubi users focus on the splitting and coding of corresponding solutions. Don't mix descriptions of different solutions, and don't treat candidate numbers as if they never change.
Put difficult words into simple context
Enter it independently first, and then write a short sentence containing it. Make the context as easy to understand as possible so that the focus of observation remains on the target word. If the entire sentence is unfamiliar, it will be difficult to tell which part is slowing down typing.
Today’s practice and inspection
Choose three words that you often encounter but are unfamiliar with, confirm the information and practice short sentences. Re-enter every other exercise to check whether you still need to review it. Moving already stable words off the focus list, leaving a small number of truly difficult items, is easier to perform than growing an unrevised list.
