Can You Compare Chinese CPM with English WPM?
Create separate files according to language, input method and character caliber to avoid directly ranking unequal numbers.
If the units are different, do not divide the ranking first.

CPM is commonly used in Chinese, but different websites may have different handling of correct characters, errors and time. The number of pinyin keys is not equal to the final number of Chinese characters. Figures that do not indicate caliber cannot directly represent who has stronger input capabilities.
There are also conditional differences in the same language
Full spelling, double spelling, Wubi and different materials will change the task. In English word lists and punctuated articles, one cannot judge progress or failure just by looking at speed. Record the input method, text type and duration to explain where the next change comes from.
Establish respective progress lines
Save several normal records for the main languages used to compare new content of the same type. For multi-language work, you can also arrange additional mixed tasks to see the errors and total time spent when switching. Do not attempt to summarize all language proficiency with one combined average score.
Today’s practice and inspection
Complete short tests in two commonly used languages, record units and conditions, and do not rush to compare numbers. Make another bilingual text that is actually needed and check for boundary issues. Arrange training according to their respective shortcomings, and let the records answer "what to practice next" instead of creating unfair rankings.
