How to Create Your Own Typing Practice Text
Write repeated errors and common scenarios into short pieces of original material, control the difficulty and retain new questions for verification.
Start with a clear need
If you want to practice numbers, write fictitious dates and amounts. If you want to practice switching between Chinese and English, write short sentences with abbreviations. If you want to practice question marks, put them into simple sentences. The material should focus on one main difficulty point; don't make a text difficult to read just to cover all the keys.
Use original samples without sensitive information
can simulate the working format, but replace real names, account numbers, orders and internal content. The original short sentences are enough to train movements, and there is no need to copy the entire paragraph from a private file. If you use public articles, you should also pay attention to the source and permission, and do not arbitrarily publish third-party full texts into question banks.
gradually increases in difficulty
The first material only contains familiar words and a new difficulty, the second material changes the order, and the third material adds normal context. Keep an unpracticed copy of the text for verification. If you only practice the same sentence every time, your performance will easily reflect memory rather than skill transfer.
Today’s practice and inspection
Write three lines of material based on the wrong question book. Each line only deals with different situations with the same focus. After practicing, return to the regular article and see if the same mistakes have been reduced. If there is no improvement, recheck whether the self-edited material actually simulates the front and rear connections where the problem occurs.
