Practice plans and reviews
Only Five Minutes? A Short Daily Typing Practice Plan
Use a difficult point and a verification text to form a short exercise to avoid just doing random speed tests when you are short of time.
Choose a task in five minutes
Before you start, write down what you want to do today, such as missing less spaces or finding a new key. Don’t switch between vocabulary, articles, courses, and multiple languages in a short period of time. The more focused the content, the easier it will be to judge whether you have accomplished your goal after it is over.
An adjustable arrangement
First use a short piece of familiar content to confirm the status, then practice today's difficult point, then use another new piece of content to verify, and finally leave a few dozen seconds to write a review. The exact number of minutes can vary; if the question is too long, reduce the amount of text rather than removing verification and review.
Keep migration check even if time is short
After the special combination is smoothed, it still needs to be seen whether it is stable in normal sentences. For example, after practicing the spaces between words, immediately enter a new sentence. Otherwise, you may practice the same short string every day without knowing whether the problems in the article have improved.
Tasks available today
Pick a recent recurring error and prepare three sets of short examples and one sentence of verification text. When finished write "What to continue next time". If most of the five minutes are spent on topic selection, select the materials for the next time in advance to make the practice easier to start.
