Weekend Typing Practice: Organizing Longer Sessions
Divide longer free time into different tasks and breaks, leaving small goals that can be continued next week.
More idle time does not mean that the longer the key is pressed continuously, the better
Weekends can be used to organize questions and arrange materials, but there is no need to spend all the time typing. First look at the most common difficulties encountered this week and decide on a special goal. If you can't practice on weekdays, there is no need to maintain low-quality input just to make up for the extra time.
Split the task into several independent segments
The first paragraph checks the current level, the second paragraph researches and practices a difficult point, and the third paragraph verifies it with ordinary articles. Leave the input task between each section and observe whether the status is suitable for continuing. The duration is adjusted according to individual circumstances, and the task is shortened when concentration decreases.
Different segments have different functions
If the speed is measured repeatedly in the three stages, it will be difficult to solve the problems that have been discovered. You can replace the middle paragraph with checking the layout, checking the input method, or sorting out wrong words. For example, when choosing Chinese words is difficult, first confirm the type of error, and then decide whether to practice phrases or switch punctuation.
Leave tasks that can be taken up next week
At the end, write out an improved problem and an unsolved problem, and prepare a very short material. Even if it's just a few minutes next week, continue from here. Don't set the weekend's best score as a requirement that must be met every day. Keeping regular records is more valuable for reference.
