Missing Spaces While Typing? Practice Word Boundaries

Treat spaces as target characters and practice the continuous connection between word endings, spaces and the next word.

First distinguish between missing spaces and repeated spaces

If is entered, redcup is omitted, and if red cup is entered, there is an extra space. The two may come from different actions: the former is rushing to the next word, the latter may be repeating a key press or wanting to confirm the state with a space. Record the actual output first, and then choose a practice method.

Put spaces into practice units

Don’t just practice the two words themselves, but type them in together with the spaces in between. You can start with red cup, blue pen, small bag, and then change the order. You can clearly see the word boundaries and press the space before entering the next word without extending the pressing time.

Mixed Chinese and English will be checked separately.

In the Chinese input method, spaces may be used for word selection, and confirming candidates does not necessarily mean inserting a space into the final text. The shuffled exercises should be based on the final output, and the spaces should be reserved according to the topic. Do not regard the number of word selections as the number of text spaces.

Today’s practice and inspection

Prepare five sets of two-word phrases, practice them one by one, and then connect them into a line. Check that each boundary has only the spaces required by the question. If the words are accurate but the boundaries are still wrong, continue to practice connection next time; if the entire line starts to be misplaced, you should first find the earliest missing position instead of modifying all subsequent characters one by one.
