How to Recover Calmly After a Typing Mistake

Use controllable small mistakes to practice positioning and recovery, and reduce the habit of continuously deleting and reopening the entire paragraph.

Reaction after mistakes is also worth practicing

A single typo only affects a small area, but if you press it randomly, delete too many times, or forget the location of the original text, it will lead to extensive rework. First change the goal from "never be wrong" to "know the next step after discovery", which makes it easier to observe real problems.

Use short text to practice recovery

Enter a sentence in the local test document. When an error is found, stop for a moment, confirm the cursor, error range and target text, and then correct it. Don't deliberately create errors in the official documentation, and don't arbitrarily change the rules in timed tests. When you need to practice recovery, use separate small tasks.

Read a short paragraph before starting again

After the correction is completed, see the next few characters clearly and then restore the natural rhythm. Chinese input also needs to confirm whether the candidate status has ended. If the previous word is repeated every time it is restored, it means that the reading position needs to be clearer, not necessarily because the deletion operation is unfamiliar.

Today’s practice and inspection

Complete three short paragraphs, allowing natural mistakes but not restarting the entire paragraph. It took several actions to recover after each recording error. If the movements become clearer and clearer, it is worth retaining even if the score is temporarily low; increase the rhythm later to avoid pursuing the fastest and zero errors at the same time.
