Improve typing speed
Distraction-Free Typing: Using a Focused Practice View
Reduce interface switching and scoring interference, and use a single target to check whether focus mode improves the practice experience.
Reduce the training target
Opening many tools and constantly switching languages and durations will interrupt the observation of the same task. Before you start, make sure you're only checking one thing this round, such as maintaining your reading position or reducing missing spaces. After selecting the content, try to complete it as completely as possible, then check the results, and do not frequently adjust settings during the process.
Still need to read the content after expanding the interface
TigerTyping Starting practice will expand the practice area to make the text stand out more. You can exit the expanded state and continue the operation when needed. Interface changes can reduce visible distractions, but they will not replace appropriate difficulty; when the questions are unclear, distraction may continue even in full screen mode.
The timer doesn’t have to be the center of attention
If you keep looking at the remaining time, try focusing back on the current phrase and cursor. Start with a length of time that you can safely complete. There is no need to do a long test at the beginning. When you have difficulty reading, you can also choose unlimited content and make complete input the main goal.
Today’s practice and inspection
Use two pieces of new material of similar difficulty to experience normal browsing and expansion exercises, and record whether it is less likely to switch eyes and whether it is easier to find the position. Don’t judge the effect by just one speed. Keep the schedule that makes you more comfortable and complete the task, and then gradually increase the difficulty.
