Slow Pinyin Candidate Selection? Practice Phrase Confirmation
Observe homophones, long string input and proper name errors, and choose the phrase confirmation length that suits you.
Separately read pinyin and confirm words
Pinyin input is fast but constantly reworked, often requiring checking of candidate selections. First use a familiar piece of content to observe: is there an error in the coding itself, or is the pinyin correct but the candidate does not match the original text. The former practices spelling, while the latter practices confirmation and segmentation. You cannot just increase the speed of letter tapping.
Use clear phrases to make units
Try to enter “明天上午开会”, first process according to the fragment that you can reliably confirm. If the whole sentence candidates often deviate, shorten them; if word-by-word selection is slow, you can try more complete common phrases. Segment length is not a fixed standard and should be determined by actual errors.
Do not default to the first choice for proper names.
Names of people, places and technical terms are worth a second look. Just practice with fictitious or public examples; don't enter real customer lists into public practice materials. The candidate sorting may change with the vocabulary and history, so it is not appropriate to memorize fixed sequence numbers as a permanent operation.

Keep the more reliable method and verify it with a new article. If the pinyin itself is always wrong, solve the encoding first and don't spend all your time translating candidates.
