Improve typing speed

Can Short Speed Bursts Help Your Typing Practice?

Separate short sprints from steady input, control difficulty and use accuracy to check whether a usable speed is formed.

sprint is for exploration and does not represent daily level

Trying a faster pace for a short period of time can help you discover where you are starting to lose control. But sprint results are no substitute for normalcy, especially on very short or familiar material. If you are still frequently looking for keys, practice positioning first. It will be easier to get clear feedback than accelerating immediately.

Add a recovery link to sprint

First use a natural rhythm to complete a short paragraph, then try to input a familiar range a little faster, and finally return to a stable rhythm to type a new piece of content. This arrangement is a practice example, not a fixed ratio. Stop when hand discomfort or continuous misalignment occurs, and do not rely on hard support to complete the set number of times.

Check if the speed is actually available

If the number of deletions doubles after acceleration and the article cannot be read completely, it means that it has exceeded the current stable range. Make a note of the problematic connection, handle it slowly, and try again. Only if you can maintain a higher speed in ordinary new questions without a significant increase in errors will you be closer to the improvement that can be used daily.

Today’s practice and inspection

does one round of steady speed, one round of short trial, and one round of recovery verification, and records the feelings and error types of the three rounds. Don't just save your highest score in the middle. If the recovery round continues to be chaotic, reduce the acceleration range or reduce the tasks next time to return the exercise to an observable state.
