Chinese–English Switching: Practice Acronyms, Numbers and Punctuation

uses the first character before and after language switching as a checkpoint to reduce pinyin residue and punctuation mode confusion.

Boundaries are more likely to expose problems than monolingualism

The Chinese and English inputs are normal, but the mixed input is often wrong, indicating that the focus may be on switching states. For example, the Chinese candidate is switched to English before it is submitted, or the English abbreviation is entered and the candidate forgets to return to Chinese. First record the boundary where the error occurs, so there is no need to re-train all the key positions.

Verify the first character after each switch

Use your own system switching method, observe the interface prompts, and then enter the beginning of the target. Confirm that the output is correct before continuing with the entire section. Shortcut keys can be changed by system configuration, so the actual settings should prevail and do not copy the operating habits of other people's devices.

Practice step by step using short mixed sentences

You can enter fictitious sentences such as “请在 10:30 查看 PDF 文件。”. Keep spaces, colons, and periods according to the original text to distinguish language and punctuation patterns. Complete it slowly first, and then reduce unnecessary pauses. Don't pursue continuous high speed from the beginning.

Today’s practice and inspection

Write three sentences of Chinese text containing English abbreviations and numbers, and record whether the first character and the punctuation at the end of the sentence are correct after each switch. If the errors are concentrated in candidates that are not completed, practice submission first; if the errors are concentrated in symbols, check the punctuation mode first. Targeting boundary processing is more straightforward than adding random Chinese character exercises.
